Born in Kuala Lumpur, Isaac graduated from UCSI University. His first musical Green Tea was written in 2002 together with two inspiring composer, Onn San and Shen Vee. He was the music director for both production in 2002 and 2003. The musical received a great response from audience and critics.

Upon graduation from UCSI, Isaac and Onn were commissioned by Sidang Injil Borneo Kuala Lumpur to compose another stage musical Drunk Before Dawn which was premiered in 2004 and subsequently re-staged in 2006 at Kota Kinabalu.

Isaac went to France in 2008 to explore new ideas for his composition. He’s currently studying composition at Conservatoire de Rayonnement Régional de Montpellier Agglomération with Christophe de Coudenhove.

Having the privilege to work with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in the MPO Composer Forumplus, his work 50% was premiered in June 2009 and Gambaran Tarian Singa (A Lion Dance Impression) was premiered in Fabruary 2010.

His notable works include: Ride for orchestra, My Color Pencils for trumpet, trombone and piano, Autumn Thoughts for mixed voice choir etc…
